The philosophy behind this course is to develop students’ skills and confidence in the relaxed and warm atmosphere of our beautiful Prague studio.
During the course there will be instruction in clay preparation, centering, throwing various forms and trimming. You will be given thorough guidance to get most out of the clay with a focus on efficiency and precision at the wheel.
Even though you will be following a dedicated step by step program, your teacher always remains flexible to each person’s area of interest (if someone really enjoys making mugs and another really enjoys making bowls, vases, etc, both will have the space conducive to focus and relaxation)
During your course you will learn to make bowls, cups, vases, plates and more!
Glazing session : Glazing is included in the course and will take place on the last session where you will be able to color and decorate all your pieces with color.
The price includes everything from tutoring, materials, firings and the glazing session.
All levels are welcome to this course.
Marie Poirot / Ekaterina Matveeva
Students will be able to take their finished pieces home with them one to two weeks after the end of the course.
