MAKING
The illustrative glazing and the organic shape of the plate makes each one tell a unique story which evokes the movements of natural elements or funny moments of daily life.
Made on the potter's wheel from speckled stoneware clay & kiln fired three times at extremely high temperatures for durability. The plate is hand stamped on the base with the Terra logo. Mix and match with other styles from the shop to create a unique collection.
Made with stoneware white clay. Hand drawn with natural pigments including cobalt, copper & iron oxides, glazed with a shiny transparent finish all over.
PROCESSES & CARE
> 3 firings between 900°c - 1220°c each lasting 2 days
> 18cm
> Food safe
> hand washing is always preferred for any handmade clay piece / REAL GOLD!

You will find in all my pieces an organic twist. I like to allow my fingers mistakes in the finishing processes giving pieces uneven edges and natural looks.
