Sunday Wheel Workshop // Mugs Design 1800czk

This course is aimed at anyone wanting  to discover the magic of the potter’s wheel !

Summary

Discover the magic of the wheel! - Beginner & Intermediate course – Intensive 4h  - Making 2 mugs – 2h glazing session – max 5 participants – semi private class – Terra members 20% discount

Sunday 9 – 1 pm: Students will learn how to center, open and pull up a mug. They will also create another design mug using a mix of handbuilding, wheel throwing and trimming. Students will learn two techniques for handles. 

Glazing session : Pieces will be fired within a week (check with your teacher that your piece has been fired before coming to glaze) and students will be able to come back to glaze their work for 2 hours with help & supervision. (time and date can be discussed)

PRICE 

1800 czk per person. The price includes everything from tutoring, materials, firings and the glazing session.

LEVEL 

This is a beginner to intermediate course.  We tailor the workshops according to your level. 

Anyone wanting to try the wheel for the first time or wanting a refresh is very welcome :p

PICK UP

Students will be able to take home with them their finished pieces after the two ceramic  firings.

Your pieces will be fired within the next week or two following your glazing 🙂

Terra is a small local business that depends entirely on its classes and courses. If you decide to commit to a class please do make sure that you can attend. 

Cancellation is possible no later than one month before the event with a handling fee of 20%. After that retraction period full or partial refunds are not possible.
