Immerse yourself in the world of Japanese Kyusu & Shibodashi teapots! |

- Choose between Saturdays 10-1.30pm or Fridays 2-5.30pm - beginners welcome. It's all about the learning process :) - Learn to throw:
- Making of a 200ml/300ml Asian inspired Kyusu style teapot - Learn to make lids - Learn how to create spouts & Do-ake, Dobeso or Sasame mesh filter for your tea leaves –Glazing by your teacher available w/ your chosen color or glazing by the student. – max 7 participants – semi private class - Classes primarily taught in English but your teacher also speaks Czech if needed. |

GLAZING CLASS
Friday evening Glazing (coloring) 6.30-8pm // or glazing by the teacher (recommended)
Summary // Students will learn how to make either a Shibodashi tea pourer or an elegant Kyusu teapot to enjoy tea ceremonies at home with your best tea leaves. Students will learn how to make lids and assemble their teapot from scratch. Students will also be able to decorate & personalize their unique pieces. Pieces will be inspired from Asian traditional designs.
Glazing session :
Students have 2 options for their glazing
1. GLAZING BY THE TEACHER AVAILABLE> You will be able to choose among a large selection of colors and styles specially chosen for the studio. Your teacher will fire and glaze your pieces for you and they'll be ready for pickup in 2 weeks.
2. GLAZING BY THE STUDENT> You can also come back to the studio and glaze your pieces yourself on a Friday between 6.30-8pm free of charge. We will send you this information in an afterclass email.
PICK UP
Students can come pick up their pieces on Saturdays between 4-8pm.
PRICE
The price is per person and includes everything from tutoring, materials, firings and glazing by the teacher.
LEVEL
We tailor the workshops according to your level. Anyone wanting to discover the wheel or improve their skills is very welcome :p

POLICY
Terra is a small local business that depends entirely on its classes and courses. If you decide to commit to a class please do make sure that you can attend.
Cancellation is possible no later than one month before the event with a handling fee of 20%. After that retraction period full or partial refunds are not possible.
